Received her Bachelor of Laws (Ll.B.) degree from the University of the Philippines in 2006, where she graduated in the top 19 of her class. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree (Management Engineering) from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2002. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2007. She was formerly an associate in Picazo Buyco Tan Fider & Santos Law Offices.

• Acts as legal counsel of a local generating company. Work to date has included the review of proposed regulatory issuances of the Energy Regulatory Commission; legal advice and the preparation of memoranda involving various regulatory and legal matters affecting the Philippine electric power industry; drafting and filing various applications for approval of power supply agreements; coordination with and representation before the Energy Regulatory Commission; coordination with distribution utilities; and basic contract support.

• Part of the team acting as legal counsel to one of Asia Pacific's leading specialist in corporate recovery in their acquisition of contracts to sell ("CTS") receivables from a Philippine financial company. Work includes review of accounts covered by the CTS, review of sale/assignment documents and assisting client in providing an efficient structure for the acquisition of the CTS.

• Assisted in the issuance of unsubordinated debt instruments qualifying as Tier II capital for a major local bank. Work included the preparation of the offering circular, drafting and reviewing of various project agreements, and conduct of the due diligence review.

• Assisted in the documentation and implementation of a wide variety of acquisitions and/or dispositions of various assets, including, among others, shares of stock of a local telecoms company and a local software provider. Work included corporate structuring, contract negotiations, drafting the acquisition documents, assistance on various corporate matters, and conduct of due diligence review of material contracts.

• Acted as part of a team engaged by a major local power company for the issuance of notes and bonds. Work included the review of the prospectus, drafting and reviewing of other associated documentation, contract negotiation, and conduct of the due diligence review.

• Part of the team that was engaged for the Initial Public Offering of a local knowledge process outsourcing provider. Work included coordination with and representation before the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as the Philippine Stock Exchange, advice on applicable laws and regulations, and drafting of various supporting documents.

• Part of the team engaged as transactional counsel in relation to the capitalization of a major government-owned-and-controlled corporation. Work includes drafting and review of transactional documents and representation before various government agencies and private entities.

• Acted as part of the team engaged by a major local transmissions company for its corporate structuring.

• Provided advice regarding energy law and rules and regulations issued by the Energy Regulatory Commission, including representation before the Energy Regulatory Commission for various cases and applications.

• Provided advice involving the various fields of law, including, among others, issues involving corporate, securities, taxation, and nationalization requirements.

• Performed retainer and corporate secretarial work for several companies engaged in various fields of business, including major multinational firms. Work included incorporation, contract review, and drafting of documents for various corporate transactions and corporate filings such as, among others, joint venture agreements, trust agreements, and sale agreements.
